Entry into a site or a building can be controlled with a card access system. These can range from a simple stand-alone card reader controlling a single gate or door to a complex, multi-reader, computer based access control system. The level of security you desire will dictate what type of system to install. Lower security applications, such as single gate, will be best suited with a stand-alone system. Applications requiring a higher level of security, multiple doors or a need to govern the time at which a person is allowed to enter a site require a computer based system. Advances in technology are bringing down the costs of the most convenient type of card readers, the proximity reader. Cards no longer have to be inserted or swiped through a reader. A proximity card generates a signal to the reader at distances up to 3 feet. Our estimators are experts in the field of card access and we can custom design a system to meet your security and budget needs. Give us a call!
